🟢 Basic Level
Introductory courses for learners with little or no prior knowledge.
Introduction to Foot-and-Mouth disease (FMD) describes the importance, diagnosis, outbreak investigation and the control measures of FMD that might apply in a previously free country experiencing an outbreak.
The course consists of six modules. Upon completion of the modules and the course assessment, you will be able to download your certificate.
🟡 Intermediate Level
Courses for professionals with some previous knowledge or field experience.
FMD Emergency preparedness course is designed to allow learners to prepare for a Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) emergency by rapidly improving their knowledge of FMD diagnosis and outbreak investigation.
🔴 Advanced Level
Specialized courses for experienced professionals and technical experts.
Real-time training is a four-day intensive course in an FMD-endemic country where trainees see clinical cases of FMD, and engage with farmers, peers and expert trainers. The course gives participants the unique opportunity to visit farms with suspected FMD cases and carry out clinical and epidemiological investigations in real time.
